| Sweet... This is the day that the lord hath made!!! I am taking a short leave of abscence to go to Baton Rouge with Inspire. We leave today and don't have to come back until Saturday. :D :D :D :D Yay! It should be some good times. I went to the Technology Center to check out a digital camera... there's are freakin' huge! so I won't have any records of my trip :( I love pictures, but oh well.
Bitter... I am going to miss my man soooo much. It's amazing to look back and see how much we've grown together. 7 months, ya'll! that's a record, for me anyways :) I love how he's made 7 months feel like 2. Every moment with him seems too short, and time apart from him seems way too long. He makes me so very happy :) Plus... I have so much homework!!!! Oh well... ;) Actually I got 80% of it done before I left.. Praise the Lord!
But anyway, you guys have an amazing weekend. Keep God number one in your heart, and all other things will fall into place! ;)
| Hey everyone! I cannot believe I actually have time to do a real post on xanga... hold on. I have to pinch myself and make sure I'm not dreaming...
I am so excited about this break! I have a full month to forget about grades, homework, studying... one of which I did little of anyway *cough* Still yet, between work and school, I am worn out to the max. I have been thinking about this break for a long time... Here are some of the things I cannot wait to do over the break (in no particular order):
- Watch Napoleon Dynamite! (along with a ton of other movies that I have not seen such as Rocky, Kill Bill 2 (because I have already seen 1), and many more)
- Hang out in the hot tub until I get totally pruned
- Clean out my car!
- Cook dinner for my family like I did back in the day, and maybe invite Vernon if he's lucky ;)
- Spend plenty of time telling Vernon that I am the luckiest woman alive... and that he REALLY needs to work out over the break :) HA! Totally pay back, but totally jokin
- Watch some Hog basketball.. and the other football teams that can actually win... it hurts, I know
- Go to the mall, the movies, the front porch, and Kohl's with Sarah Faye (yay for after Christmas $ales$)
- Go to Red Lobster (Yummy cheese biscuits and Lobster fondu)
- Hang with the fam... maybe go to Branson and do some more shopping.. or for me window shopping
Everyone have a safe trip home and God bless!
| Have you ever really loved a woman?
Bryan Adams
To really love a woman To understand her - you gotta know her deep inside Hear every thought - see every dream N’ give her wings - when she wants to fly Then when you find yourself lyin’ helpless in her arms Ya know ya really love a woman
When you love a woman you tell her That she’s really wanted When you love a woman you tell her that she’s the one Cuz she needs somebody to tell her That it’s gonna last forever So tell me have you ever really - really really ever loved a woman?
To really love a woman Let her hold you - Til ya know how she needs to be touched You’ve gotta breathe her - really taste her Til you can feel her in your blood N’ when you can see your unborn children in her eyes Ya know ya really love a woman
When you love a woman You tell her that she’s really wanted When you love a woman you tell her that she’s the one Cuz she needs somebody to tell her That you’ll always be together So tell me have you ever really - Really really ever loved a woman?
You got to give her some faith - hold her tight A little tenderness - gotta treat her right She will be there for you, takin’ good care of you Ya really gotta love your woman...
Then when you find yourself lyin’ helpless in her arms Ya know ya really love a woman When you love a woman you tell her That she’s really wanted When you love a woman you tell her that she’s the one Cuz she needs somebody to tell her That it’s gonna last forever So tell me have you ever really - really really ever loved a woman?
Just tell me have you ever really, Really, really, ever loved a woman? Just tell me have you ever really, Really, really, ever loved a woman?
| You have lead me to the sadness
I have carried this pain
On my back, bruised and nearly broken
I'm crying out to You
[chorus]
I will sing of Your mercy
That leads me through valleys of sorrow
To rivers of joy
When death, like a gypsy
Comes to steal what I love
I will still look to the heavens
I will still seek Your face
But I fear You aren't listening
Because there are no words
Just the stillness and the hunger
For a faith that is Yours
[chorus]
I will sing of Your mercy
That leads me through valleys of sorrow
To rivers of joy
Alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia
While we wait for rescue
With our eyes tightly shut
Face to the ground, using our hands
To cover the fatal cut
Though the pain is an ocean
Tossing us around, around, around
You have calmed greater waters
Higher mountains have come down
| Can't Give Up Now
There will be mountains that I will have to climb And there will be battles that I will have to fight But victory all defeat, it's up to me to decide But how can I expect to win If I never try.
I just can't give up now I've come too far from where I started from Nobody told me the road would be easy and I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me
Never said there wouldn't be trials Never said I would't fall ever said that everything would go the way I want it to go But when my back is against the wall And i feel all hope is gone, I'll just lift my head up to the sky And say help me to be strong
I just can't give up now I've come too far from where I started from Nobody told me the road would be easy and I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me
Hook: No you didn't bring me out here to leave me lonely Even when I can't see clearly I know that you are with me(so I can't)
I just can't give up now I've come too far from where I started from Nobody told me the road would be easy and I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me
